Expansion of potato breeding site in Windeby
The Solana Group opened its new seed breeding building and greenhouse in Windeby on 28 August 2024. Minister President Daniel Günther praised the company as an important regional economic factor. Managing Director Leo von Kameke emphasised the strategic importance of the location and the facilities now to offer new local jobs.

Solana strengthens sales activities in the Spanish market
The international potato breeder Solana and the distribution company SEED agree on cooperation. SEED will take over the distribution of selected varieties in the Spanish market.

An important step in this process is that our Dutch company Den Hartigh will operate as "Solana Holland" in the future. This means that the company name and logo will change.
