Expansion of potato breeding site in Windeby
The Solana Group opened its new seed breeding building and greenhouse in Windeby on 28 August 2024. Minister President Daniel Günther praised the company as an important regional economic factor. Managing Director Leo von Kameke emphasised the strategic importance of the location and the facilities now to offer new local jobs.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Seed World Magazine Europe today published a list of the 20 most influential women in the European seed industry: our colleague and breeder Dr. Vanessa Prigge was also voted into the top 20.
